Erik Limbourg (BE)

Geeloger & Rolex Special

2023 became the year of "Wonderboy" Erik Limbourg from Brussegem! Weekly top performances in almost all disciplines crowned him 2nd Nat. general champion KBDB with as cherry on the cake of winning 1st Nat. ace KBDB allround with Geeloger, which not much later went down in the books as one of the most expensive Belgian racers ever sold...

A year earlier, in 2022, it was the phenomenon Rolex of Rudy Denies, which won 5 times 1st prize resulting in 1st Nat. ace KBDB small middle distance & 1st Worlds Best Pigeon middle distance (Belgium). Rolex was sold to China but stayed until last year in Limbourg's loft for co-breeding. Limbourg also brought the parents of Rolex to Brussegem, both descend from old Limbourg lines: Jan, Remy, Iron Lady, etc.

In the auction at EPA Erik only brings the very best of his loft with 4 children from the following pairings:

  • Geeloger (1st Nat. ace KBDB allround 2023 & sold for €450.000 euros) x Daughter Creone Roeper (1st Nat. ace KBDB long distance 2020 & sold for €830.000 euros)
  • Rolex (1st Nat. ace KBDB small middle distance & 1st Worlds Best Pigeon middle distance (Belgium) 2022) x Nestsister Geeloger (mother 1st Ecouen 775 birds & sold to Kaier)
  • Parents Rolex (1st Nat. ace KBDB small middle distance & 1st Worlds Best Pigeon middle distance (Belgium) 2022)
  • De Sterke (father 2x 1st prize & brother 1st Nat. ace KBDB long distance 2020 Creone Roeper) x 225 Daughter Bonten Crack (No. 1 breeding hen Limbourg, mother 7x 1st prize from 1st Nat. ace KBDB long distance 2019 Den Bonten Crack (Anthony Maes) x 2nd Nat. ace KBDB long distance 2019 Laurence)

Tjeerd & Jouke Elzinga (NL)

Youngsters from the best breeders

The father/son duo Tjeerd & Jouke Elzinga have been amongst the top of Dutch pigeon sport for many years. Icons stood up in the lofts in Harkema, such as the 1. Nat. ace allround WHZB/TBOTB Esmee, base breeder Hallilujah and 2x 1. NPO winner Prince Esmee. In the autumn of 2023, father/son Elzinga suffered a huge setback with the theft of almost all their breeders. Fortunately, base breeder Hallilujah was saved. In auction at EPA, Elzinga brings a daughter of Hallilujah and the last diamonds of the stolen breeders. Only brothers and sisters of the current (potential) top racers... Top quality with a golden edge!

Dominique Velghe (BE)

Blizzard King Kittel Special

Over the years, Dominique Velghe built a fantastic colony of pigeons. Only investments were made in the very best that Belgian pigeon sport has to offer. Children and family of the exceptional 1. Nat. ace KBDB sprint 2021 Blizzard King Kittel were introduced and currently play a leading role in the lofts of Velghe. But also children of Olympic Kittel 006, La Machine, Miracle, Flying Dutchman, etc. of Van Den Bulck. In auction at EPA, Velghe offers now 6 (double) grandchildren Blizzard King Kittel crossed with the best of Van Den Bulck... Great quality!

Wil & Johan Boonen (NL)

Caatje Special

The brothers Wil & Johan Boonen have won 1.-1.-2.-3.-3.-5.-6.-6. National on the Marathon races in recent years. The highlight was Caatje who won 1st Nat. Barcelona (1112 km) against 4.838 birds in 2021. Not much later, Caatje moved to the breeding loft where she and her children now play the leading role. In auction at EPA, Boonen offers 5 young birds from the very best of their loft. Only (inbred) children and grandchildren of Caatje, but through co-breeding also grandchildren of toppers Helios (1st Nat. ace pigeon Marathon ZLU 2018 & 1st Int. Perpignan 12.353 birds) of Jos Martens & Blue Dusk (1st Int. ace pigeon Marathon 2016-2017) from Saarloos. Top quality for the tough Marathon races guaranteed!

Ronald & Sietse Fokkinga (NL)

National Pogacar Special

In 2021, Ronald and Sietse Fokkinga stole the show with the extraordinary racer National Pogacar. This resulted in winning several 1st Nat. ace titles including 1st Nat. ace WHZB/TBOTB long distance but he also won 1st NPO Issoudun 2.720 birds with a 9 minute lead. Not much later, National Pogacar was sold to Gerard Koopman. Despite the fact that National Pogacar changed owners, his children and closely related family still take the leading role in the lofts of Fokkinga. In auction at EPA, Fokkinga offers a child Hallilujah's Hope (father 7.-8.-15.-24.-25. NPO & grandfather National Pogacar) and the 3 first double grandchildren National Pogacar ever to be sold.
